The Assos Equipe RS Alleycat Shell Jacket S11 is Assos' race-day weather shell, built to pack down to the size of a fist and disappear into a jersey pocket when the sun comes out. It's cut in the brand's AEPD 11 racingFit, a second-skin, aerodynamic silhouette developed with WorldTour feedback that wraps the body in 360-degree compression and stability rather than flapping in the wind like a looser-cut shell jacket.
Weather protection comes from Diamond ULTRA, a two-layer softshell that's windproof, water-repellent, and breathable, engineered with body-mapping four-way stretch across the chest, shoulders, and upper back so the aerodynamic fit doesn't come at the cost of movement. The lower sleeves switch to 575CX for extra breathability and a closer second-skin feel, while a band of ultralight woven MIG textile wraps the stomach and lower back to shed water and cut volume and weight exactly where a rider needs to stay light and unrestricted in an aggressive position.
A double-slide zipper lets you vent from the top or the bottom without fully opening the jacket, and an eco-conscious DWR treatment sheds precipitation and road spray without the environmental cost of older water-repellent finishes. Reflective details add visibility in low-light, overcast riding. Assos built the Alleycat S11 for the gaps between seasons — spring and fall rides where conditions swing mid-ride — or as a final protective outer layer over a winter kit. It's sized XS through 2XL in Kosimo Granit.
