The Q36.5 Gregarius Pro Signature Bib Shorts are an all-round road bib from the Italian brand's Gregarius line. Q36.5 describes the Gregarius range as its ultimate all-round bib shorts, built on a traditional fit and a pad that is part of the pattern itself.
The pattern uses four different fabrics with minimal stitching. Q36.5 describes the aim as a free, unrestricted feel on the bike, with the shorts almost forgotten once you are riding. That is a manufacturer description, but minimal stitching does mean fewer seams to rub on long days.
The pad is Q36.5's Q LAB Air Chamois. Q36.5 says it uses a single-layer cover fabric without lamination or foam for quick drying and breathability, and a C-shaped foam pad underneath that is inserted directly into the pattern of the shorts. The result, according to Q36.5, is a single plane from the straps to the groin, rather than a separate pad sewn on top. Q36.5 says this gives noticeably better stability and comfort.
The fit is Q36.5's traditional fit, which is more relaxed than the supportive, ergogenic cut of the Dottore range.
