Machined in Minnesota from aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum, these integrated (IS) headsets are designed for modern frames with molded-in bearing seats (41 mm upper / 52 mm lower outer bearing diameter). The result is a low-stack, clean look with the kind of precision and durability you expect from Wolf Tooth.

Inside, you get Enduro stainless steel sealed bearings with a lifetime warranty, backed up by Wolf Tooth’s multi-layer sealing system. An O-ring around the steerer, a custom-molded upper lip seal, and a dual-lip seal on the crown race all work together to keep water, grit, and winter road salt away from the bearings. In real riding, that means less creaking, less play, and more seasons of smooth steering.

Uppers and lowers are sold separately so you can match exactly what your frame needs. The upper assembly includes Wolf Tooth’s Ultralight Stem Cap with Integrated Spacer, plus an aluminum bolt and star nut (for steel or alloy steerers). Top covers are available in 7 mm, 15 mm, and 25 mm options so you can fine-tune your stack height without stacking a tower of spacers. For forks with carbon steerer tubes, you’ll use a compression plug instead of the star nut.

The IS lower headset is kept intentionally minimal: just the bearing and a black-anodized crown race that disappears once installed. The over-molded dual-lip seal on the crown race protects the lower bearing in harsh conditions—perfect for all-weather commuting, muddy cyclocross, or long gravel days.

Every headset component is precision-machined in-house at Wolf Tooth to tight tolerances, then finished in a range of anodized colors so you can either keep it stealth or add a small hit of color at the front of the bike.
