Oakley Suture Jacket Glasses

The Oakley Suture Jacket Glasses use a high-wrap, semi-rimless frame with an extended lens, giving you wide peripheral coverage without the tunnel-vision feel of a smaller shield. The frame is built from Oakley's lightweight O-Matter material and cut with integrated vents, so air moves across the lens during hard efforts and sweat has somewhere to drain instead of fogging your view. RA Cycles carries the Suture Jacket in two setups — Matte Black with a PRIZM Road lens, or Matte Abyss with a Clear to Black Photochromic lens that adjusts its tint automatically as light changes through a ride.

The PRIZM Road lens is tuned to boost contrast on asphalt, making it easier to pick out potholes, seams, and debris before you're on top of them. The photochromic option covers a different problem — group rides that start in early morning shadow and finish under full sun, or routes that duck in and out of tree cover, where swapping glasses mid-ride isn't practical. Both lenses are cut from Oakley's Plutonite material with High Definition Optics for 100% UV filtering, and both carry a hydrophobic coating on the outer and inner surfaces to keep sweat and rain from smearing your view when you need it most.

Fit comes down to Oakley's three-point contact design, where the glasses touch only at the temples and the bridge of the nose, cutting down on pressure points during long rides. Unobtainium nose pads and temple grips do the rest, tightening their hold as you sweat rather than loosening. The frame also accepts Oakley's aftermarket Prizm replacement lenses, so if you outgrow the stock tint for a different condition, you can swap lenses instead of replacing the whole pair.
