Oakley Corridor SQ Glasses Info

The Oakley Corridor SQ Glasses take Oakley's semi-rimless shield design and square off the lens shape, giving the frame a sharper look that works as easily off the bike as on it. The frame is built from Oakley's O Matter material, a lightweight, durable plastic that keeps the glasses comfortable over a long ride without adding bulk to the front of your face. RA Cycles carries the Corridor SQ in three frame and lens combinations — Matte Carbon with PRIZM Trail Torch, Grey Smoke with PRIZM Road, and Matte Transparent Light Curry with PRIZM 24k — so you can match the lens tint to the light conditions you ride in most.

Every lens option runs on Oakley's PRIZM technology, which tunes color and contrast for a specific environment rather than just darkening your view. On a bike, that means potholes, gravel, and shifts in road surface show up more clearly instead of blending into shadow or glare. The lenses themselves are polycarbonate, which resists impact from flying debris better than glass while staying optically clear, and they block 100% of UV light up to 400nm regardless of which tint you choose.

Fit is where the Corridor SQ earns its keep on longer efforts. Oakley uses Unobtainium at the nosepad and earsocks, a rubber-like material that actually grips harder as you sweat instead of sliding — useful on a climb or a hot group ride where sunglasses bobbing on your nose becomes a real distraction. Between the secure fit and the shield-style coverage, the Corridor SQ works for riders who want one pair of glasses that holds up to training rides and still looks right at the coffee stop.

The RA Perspective

The Corridor SQ is one of the more versatile Oakley shapes we carry — it reads a little less "race" than some of the wraparound shield styles, which is exactly why a lot of our customers reach for it. The squared-off lens still gives you full shield coverage, but the frame doesn't look out of place walking into a coffee shop after a ride.

The PRIZM lens is the real reason to spend up for this pair over a basic tinted lens. We've had riders comment that road seams and potholes stand out sooner than they expect, especially with the Trail Torch and Road tints, which is worth something on a fast descent where reaction time matters.

Fit-wise, the Unobtainium nosepad and earsocks do what Oakley says they do — they grip better once you're sweating, not worse. That's a real advantage over glasses that start sliding down your nose an hour into a hot ride. The tradeoff is that O Matter frames, while light, are a step down in stiffness from some premium metal-frame options, so don't expect them to feel bombproof if you crash in them.

We'd point a rider toward the Corridor SQ if they want one pair of glasses that covers training rides, group rides, and everyday wear without needing a dedicated race-day pair.
