This is the value entry point into CeramicSpeed's OSPW lineup for Dura-Ace 9200 and Ultegra 8100 riders — you're getting the same larger pulley geometry and carbon cage as the pricier coated and RS versions, just with standard bearings instead of the coated upgrade.

The efficiency gain here is real, but it's also the kind of upgrade that matters most to riders who are already dialed in everywhere else — a worn chain or dirty drivetrain will cost you more in friction than this pulley system saves, so it's worth starting with basic maintenance if that's not already sorted.

Standard bearings hold up fine for riders who keep their drivetrain relatively clean and dry. If you're riding in consistently wet or gritty conditions, the coated bearing version is worth the price difference for the added corrosion resistance.

We'd recommend this to road riders on Dura-Ace 9200 or Ultegra 8100 who want a genuine friction reduction at a lower price point than CeramicSpeed's coated or RS systems.
