CeramicSpeed OSPW RS Alpha Team V3 SRAM Red AXS D1/E1 and Force AXS D1 Info

The CeramicSpeed OSPW RS Alpha Team V3 SRAM Red AXS D1/E1 and Force AXS D1 is CeramicSpeed's road-focused oversized pulley wheel system, built to replace the stock rear derailleur cage and pulleys on SRAM's Red and Force AXS groups with a lower-friction alternative. This is the Team edition, carrying the oversized CeramicSpeed logo used by the professional teams the brand sponsors, and it's the third-generation version of the RS Alpha platform for these SRAM derailleurs.

The system runs 15-tooth and 19-tooth Alpha Disc pulleys, built as a two-piece design with a composite narrow-wide tooth profile bonded to a solid aluminum disc. That solid-disc construction keeps debris and chain flex from working into the bearing itself. Each pulley spins on handbuilt CeramicSpeed bearings, and the brand's Active Debris Remover (ADR) technology adds a dust cover anchored in a groove around the bearing along with a bladed groove structure that actively pushes contaminants away as the pulley rotates, rather than relying on a static seal alone.

The V3 update to this system focuses on the cage: CeramicSpeed reworked the cage interface for a faster, more straightforward install onto Red and Force AXS derailleurs, and the cage still offers customizable spring tension so you can dial in chain gap and cage tension to your specific setup. The complete system weighs 104 grams net, is compatible with SRAM's UFO Ultra Endurance and UFO Speed 12-speed flattop chains, and comes with a lifetime warranty on the complete OSPW RS system when running Alpha pulleys.

This is a pulley system for riders and racers already running SRAM Red or Force AXS who want to shave drivetrain friction and keep their bearings running clean through a full race season, not a first upgrade for someone still deciding on a groupset.

The RA Perspective

We put a lot of these on race bikes running SRAM Red and Force AXS, and the two things riders actually notice are the smoother feel through the pedal stroke and how clean the bearings stay after a wet or gritty ride. The ADR debris protection is doing real work there — the bladed groove structure keeps pushing contaminants out instead of just trying to seal them out, which matters once you've put a few hundred miles of road grit through a drivetrain.

The V3 cage update is a small thing but a welcome one. Earlier versions could be a little fiddly to get seated correctly on the derailleur, and the reworked interface makes that install noticeably faster — worth mentioning if you're doing this swap yourself rather than having a mechanic handle it.

The customizable spring tension is easy to overlook but worth setting up properly. Get it dialed in and shifting stays crisp; leave it at a default setting and you're not getting the full benefit of the system.

At $699, this isn't an impulse buy. We'd point it toward someone racing or training seriously on a Red or Force AXS bike who's already dialed in the rest of their setup and is looking for the next real gain, not someone just starting to build out their bike.
