The PLT Stem is PRO’s take on a traditional, sculpted stem.
PRO starts with 2014 aluminum to get the desired mix of stiffness and light weight. They also shape the stem itself a bit wider than it is tall, to improve torsional stiffness. PRO relieves as much material as possible at both clamps, giving the stem an attractive, skeletal appearance.
The PRO PLT stem can be flipped so it works low and high.
The stem angle is +- 10-degrees. Some see it as an 80/100 stem, just below a right angle in one position, and just above in the other.
The steerer tube clamp is designed for 1 1/8” forks. The handlebar clamp is designed for 31.8mm handlebars.
Lengths run from 50mm to 130mm. A 50mm PRO PLT Stem weighs 96g. The color is Black.
