Giro knows that there are plenty of us who want to wear long finger gloves regardless of the weather. For those people, Giro designed their LX LF gloves. LF is for Long Finger. We take the LX for Luxe.

The reason we think that is the deployment of Pittards leather. This is a soft, supple, breathable, washable natural leather that feels great and is easy to care for. Regular Pittards is used for the palm. Pittards Cabretta is used for the back. They’re easy to get in to, stretch with your movement, aided by stretchy wool flex panels. The thumb is covered in microfiber, for better nose wiping.

Leather, btw, is also better than synthetics at resisting odor build up. And, when it starts to smell, just hand wash with gentle detergent and hang dry. putting them on as they’re getting dry and cold molding them to your hand keeps them appropriately shaped.

The palm conforms to your hand like few gloves thanks to the Pittards and their Super Fit three-panel design. The central panel is flat, with the two size panels are articulated in the neutral position. A 3mm Technogel pad is used for the heel because that’s where most pressure builds. There’s a welded pull tab at the bottom of the glove to have no fear tugging.

For those who operate touchscreens while riding, have no fear. The index finger is enabled to work with touchscreens.
