While Rotor isn’t known for their round chainrings, they do a brisk business in them because their designs are light, stiff, and reliable. They’ve designed NoQ chainrings for R-Hawk and R-Raptor cranks
They’re made out of CNC-machined 7075 T-6 aluminum and have the narrow-wide alternation that helps keep the chain from unshipping even in the most demanding conditions. Thanks to Rotor’s machining knowhow, these are lighter and stiffer than just about everything else. They save approximately 40g thanks to the elimination of the spider and chainring bolts
These chainrings mount directly onto the splined thru-axle spindle. You just slide on the ring you need. Then you slide the right crankarm onto the spindle and tighten. It stays in place perfectly
The R-Hawk and R-Rotor Direct Mount NoQ Chainrings are available in 34, 32, 30, 28, 26 tooth options. They’re designed to work with nine-, ten- and eleven-speed 1x derailleur systems.
