A red behind is something Knog likes to joke about. Their Blinder Road R70 rear light is serious business, but Knog doesn’t like to get weighed down by such talk. So they have fun with the idea. It’s a one-bike red light district. Attractive, yet tells people to keep their distance.
The first thing is, as the name indicates, is brightness. It is that: 70 lumens at its brightest. It can be seen not only from behind, but from the sides. There are five different modes, from steady to eco-flash. The former will last up to 3.5 hours, the latter up to twenty hours.
As with all their lights, they mount without tools. There are straps to fit any post between 22 and 32mm in diameter. It will fit on aero posts as well.
And when it’s tired, you can easily unhook it from your post and hook it up to a USB cable, which comes with, to recharge the unit.
The Knog Blinder Road R70 measures 27x76x52mm and weighs 52g.
