Assos builds the UMA GT Half Shorts for women who want to be fast and comfortable, but aren’t interested in racing. That was the mission when they started designing and that’s the result you’ll find here at the end.
One big difference is leg length. The legs on these bottoms are 2.5cm shorter than their H.Laalalai. The leg grippers are wide panels of doubled-over spandex that hold without pinching and without giving you the dreaded sausage-leg look when standing still. The waistband is a wide, soft yoga waist with a generous dip in the front so as to be non-constricting.
In between the bottom and the top of these bottoms is the spandex. It’s their proven Type.439, which is soft, comfortable, and durable. Inside, you’ll find their new S7 Uma-specific pad, which is not only stretchy, breathable and multi-density, but cut a bit narrower in front to reduce the likelihood of bunching.
