Wove Mags Road+Gravel Saddle - Carbon Rails

The Wove Mags Road+Gravel Saddle with Carbon Rails is a lightweight performance saddle built around a one-piece carbon shell. Wove's design aims to take pressure off soft tissue and keep the thighs clear of the nose, in both a relaxed climbing position and a low, aggressive one. The 146mm rear width suits riders who sit on the wider side of the road saddle range.

A deep channel runs the full length of the saddle, and the foam gets progressively deeper toward the front. The nose is split in a dual-nose shape with a quick taper from the rear, which is designed to encourage forward hip rotation and reduce chamois bunching. The nose measures about 30.5mm wide, narrow enough to stay out of the way when you pedal. At 24cm, the saddle includes a bare carbon tail that meets UCI length rules, and the section you actually sit on is shorter than that figure suggests.

The rails are 7mm round carbon, made from unidirectional fibers, and long enough to leave plenty of fore and aft adjustment when you dial in a fit. Wove lists the weight at roughly 125g or less, which puts this saddle among the lightest on the market. The foam and cover are molded together as a single unit.

It suits road riders and gravel riders who want a minimal, firm, low-weight saddle and are comfortable with a shape that is different from a traditional one. Keep in mind that the narrow, channeled design leaves less surface to shift your weight on in descents and corners, and the exposed carbon tail is less forgiving on technical gravel descents than a fully padded rear.
