The Shimano Ultegra FC-8000 Outer Chainring is a genuine OEM replacement — machined from aluminum and designed specifically for the FC-8000 crankset — so the ramp and pin geometry that makes 11-speed Ultegra shifting reliable is preserved exactly as Shimano intended.
Available in 50t and 52t, it covers the two most common outer ring configurations for road riding and racing. Using the correct Shimano-spec ring matters here: aftermarket options may fit the bolt circle, but the shift ramp profiles are engineered to work in concert with the inner ring and front derailleur as a system.
