Giordana describes the Giordana Women's FR-C Pro Thermal Bib Knicker as its go-to bib knicker for all-out efforts in milder climates. It is a 3/4-length bib in Super Roubaix fleece-lined thermal fabric, designed to keep the legs warm when full-length tights would run too hot.
Warmth with ventilation
The tightly knit thermal fabric adds wind protection and support through the pedal stroke. Lighter-weight breathable panels are placed to regulate temperature at high output, starting at the front of the knee and wrapping around the calf. Giordana recommends the knicker for cool weather and high-intensity efforts.
Fit and comfort
The pattern uses Giordana's Body Clone technology for a second-skin fit. A higher waistline improves fit and comfort, and the stretchable, stabilizing bib straps meet an upper mesh back for breathability when layering. Elastic cuffs at the legs stretch without the bulk of zippers. The chamois is the women's-specific Cirro S-W. Two reflective stripes at the back of the calves and a reflective Giordana logo on the lower right leg add visibility.
The knicker is made in Italy from 85% nylon and 15% elastane and comes in black, XS to 3XL. Giordana's inseam chart runs from 18.8 inches in XS to 21.2 inches in 3XL. Machine wash at 40°C or less on a reduced cycle and hang or lay flat to dry.
