Giordana Men's La Posta FR-C Pro Bib Short Info

The Giordana Men's La Posta FR-C Pro Bib Short is Giordana's race-cut bib short in the La Posta print, a design inspired by the ornamental richness of classical European art, with filigree, aged postage marks, wax seals and hand-rendered type. It comes in dark blue or multicolor, in sizes XS through 3XL.

What changed in the FR-C Pro

Giordana re-engineered this short to be lighter and stronger than before. The compression is unchanged from the previous generation, but the new fabric is more breathable and more abrasion-resistant. The body panels use a high-compression 210 gm Power Spandex with a 50 thread count, UPF 50+. The outer thigh and waist panels are 78% polyester and 22% elastane, the inner thigh panels are 77% polyamide and 23% elastane, and the bib uppers are 62% polyamide and 38% elastane.

Giordana pairs the fabric with its Body Clone technology, which it says gives the fit of a custom-made garment. The leg band is a softer, more breathable 190 E elastic with a uniform weave, designed for consistent compression from top to bottom. The bib straps are new dual-sided pieces that move moisture away from the body on the inside and add strength and stretch.

Waist, chamois and details

The waistband is carbon-infused Ametista, with a taller rise than the prior generation. The chamois is the Cirro S, aloe vera-infused and anti-microbial. A mesh back on the bib is soft and breathable, and reflective tabs add visibility. A size medium weighs 6.5 oz (184 g). The short carries the new Giordana logo branding and is made in Italy.

The FR-C Pro cut is race-ready, designed to fit close like a second skin. Giordana notes that customers new to the brand or between sizes tend to size up, and its size and inseam charts are worth checking.

The RA Perspective

The FR-C Pro bib is Giordana's top-tier short, and this La Posta version puts it in a print that is more decorative than most race kit. The fabric and fit are the same pro-level construction as the solid colors, so the pattern is the only thing you are paying for beyond the performance.

What we like about the design is the focus on pressure points. The taller carbon-infused Ametista waistband keeps the short from sliding, and the 190 E leg bands use a uniform weave so compression is even instead of squeezing at the hem. The dual-sided bib straps are meant to move moisture away from the skin, which matters on warm rides when straps are the first thing to feel clammy. At 6.5 oz in a medium, it is a light piece of kit.

The tradeoff is the fit. This is a close, race cut with high compression, and riders who prefer a relaxed short will find it firm. If you are between sizes, Giordana suggests sizing up, and the brand's own charts are worth reading before you order. The multicolor print also stands out, so it is a choice if you are matching a jersey or if you like visible kit.
