The Giordana Beyond Gravel Fleece Jacket is a relaxed-fit cycling jacket made from recycled jacquard fleece. Giordana built it for riders who want something casual enough for the coffee stop and functional enough for the ride itself, and it is part of the Beyond Gravel Collection.
Fleece outside, windproof where it matters
The fleece shell is 100% polyester. Behind it, the front panels and sleeves are lined with windproof nylon (88% nylon, 12% spandex), so the parts of you that face the wind get more protection than a plain fleece would give. The mock neck collar and the SuperRoubaix double cuffs are made from a stretchy 85% nylon, 15% elastane blend, and Giordana designed the cuffs to stay secure at the wrist and keep cold air out.
Pockets, zipper and fit
A two-way zipper lets you open the jacket from the bottom or the top. There is an upper chest pocket and a pair of zippered front hand pockets. The fit is relaxed and the sizing is unisex, so riders between sizes should check Giordana's size chart; the brand notes that customers new to it, or between sizes, tend to size up.
The jacket comes in black, sizes 2XS through 3XL, and is made in Italy. Machine wash cold at 30°C, with no bleach, tumble dry, iron or dry cleaning.
