The Fizik Transiro Aeris Long Distance Saddle is designed to keep riders as comfortable as possible through long mileage efforts. It’s split nose design relives pressure on sensitive sit bones while maintaining excellent stability and support. The rail loop at the nose is there to offset potential fatigue from asymmetry. It is designed for triathletes, so the saddle is specially engineered to be most comfortable in a forward and aerodynamic position. Padding is thicker on the nose of the saddle because that is where triathletes spend most of their time. On a time trial or triathlon leg, riders always perform better when more comfortable.
This is the R1 version of the Aeris which is the lightest and most advanced one available. 7x9 carbon rails lower the weight of your setup while maximizing stiffness. Its Nylon shell is also carbon reinforced, contributing to your fastest setup. At the back of the saddle, you will find an integrated hydration mount. This makes it easy to hook a bottle cage onto your bike in a very aerodynamic position. This link can be removed when not in use.
