The Fizik Tempo Aliante R1 Adaptive Saddle is an endurance road saddle built around a waved profile that tapers gradually from wing to nose, with a slightly wider platform that supports the ischial bones and keeps weight distributed evenly through long days in the saddle. The redesigned Aliante shape adds a flatter surface than earlier versions, spreading pressure more evenly for a balanced feel on extended rides. The shell is carbon-reinforced nylon paired with a 7x9mm carbon rail, a combination that keeps the saddle both compliant and light.

What sets this Aliante apart is Fizik's Adaptive padding, 3D-printed by Carbon using Digital Light Synthesis technology rather than molded in the traditional way. That process lets Fizik tune separate functional zones across the saddle's surface, firmer where you need support, softer through the center, all blended seamlessly into one piece of padding instead of relying on a cutout. Fizik measured a 60% reduction in peak pressure from the redesign. The Tempo Aliante R1 Adaptive comes in 145mm and 155mm widths, weighing 196 grams and 201 grams respectively, so riders can match the saddle to their sit-bone width without giving up the comfort the Adaptive padding is built around.
