The Campagnolo Direct Mount Brake Caliper has all the same design cues and strengths as their Record version. The difference is a simpler design that rewards you at the price with a minor, 18g increase in weight.
There are three different versions of the brake. There’s one for: seatstay, and under the bottom bracket.
The great benefit to Campagnolo’s design is how they’ve made all the adjusting bits accessible. You’ll find both spring tension and lever adjustment bolts accessible from the outside, a plus to already self-balancing design.
The brake comes with Campagnolo pads for aluminum rims, brake shoes that work with all major brake pad designs. The fork and seat stay mount versions come with an integrated cable adjuster. The under the bottom bracket version does not.
