Every panel, seam, and fabric choice is governed by the same AeroScience framework Assos applies to their most demanding racing garments: maximize aerodynamic performance in an aggressive, forward-leaning position without sacrificing the breathability required to sustain full power output over a long race.

Three distinct fabrics divide the Bolide S11 into performance zones. Hawk-01 covers the upper body with an open rhombus weave that simultaneously reduces turbulent drag and maximizes cooling airflow — the construction offsets surface turbulence to encourage laminar airflow while allowing heat to escape. Eagle-01 wraps the sleeves and lower back, adding a wind-stripe structure that channels air flowing parallel to the textile, pulling drag down further in the areas where a rider's arm position matters most. The legs are built from Type.959 Kompressor — the most advanced iteration of Assos's proprietary compression woven textile — with greater breathability, improved cooling, and higher compression than previous versions, plus integrated anti-slip grip, abrasion resistance, and UPF 50+ protection.
