Scott Addict RC

The Scott Addict RC is built around a single obsession: weight. The 2025 RC Ultimate tips the scales at 5.9 kg complete — achieved through Scott’s HMX-SL carbon construction and a PP Mandrel manufacturing technique that produces a fully hollow frame with tube walls down to 0.6mm. The result is a 599g frame in size medium paired with a 270g fork, placing it among the lightest production race bikes available.

The RA Cycles Scott Addict RC collection spans the full 2025 lineup: the flagship Ultimate built around SRAM Red AXS with power meter and Syncros Capital SL carbon wheels, through the RC Pro, RC Team, RC 10, RC 20, and RC 30 complete bikes. The RC Ultimate Frameset is also available for riders who want to spec their own build.

About the Scott Addict RC

Scott was founded in 1958 by Ed Scott in Sun Valley, Idaho, initially manufacturing aluminum ski poles before expanding into cycling and building a headquarters in Givisiez, Switzerland. The Addict RC is Scott’s pure climbing platform — a different design intent from the aero-focused Foil. The 2025 generation was redesigned around a PP Mandrel construction process that produces a completely hollow frame with no internal voids, tube walls down to 0.6mm, and a 599g frame weight in size medium. The flagship models use HMX-SL carbon fiber; the RC Pro and below use HMF. Scott supplies WorldTour professional teams and the Addict RC is the race bike those riders reach for on climbs.
