Hold Fast Cycling launched in 2017 with a single 36mm black valve and a straightforward goal: better tubeless hardware at a price that made sense. The brand is family-owned by the MacLeods — cycling industry veterans with more than 30 years of experience spanning retail and OEM manufacturing — and the “Hold Fast” name comes from the MacLeod family motto, a Scottish tradition of never backing down. The valve range has grown from that one SKU to more lengths and colors than any other tubeless valve brand, according to the brand itself.

The RA Cycles Hold Fast selection covers five tubeless products. The 80mm and 105mm valves are designed for deep-section rims where standard-length valves won’t reach. The 42mm insert-compatible valves are engineered to work alongside tire inserts without obstructing airflow. Highland Dust is a sealant enhancer that extends the performance of existing tubeless sealant. The Wide-Body Sealant Injector makes refilling without removing the tire practical.
