This version is a more race-oriented version of the standard Caledonia, featuring more aerodynamic components and a more aggressive geometry. It is the kind of bike that can keep you fast on smooth tarmac but will not shy away from rough roads and cobblestone. It is even ready to be fitted with fenders if you want to ride through bad weather. With space for 36mm tires, there isn’t much the Caldedonia-5 can’t handle. With a new split bearing cap, stacks can be adjusted without brake bleeding. The Cervélo Caledonia-5 is prepared to take on all comers and keep you moving fast, regardless of where or how far you go.
Comfort and convenience are key when it comes to your longest rides. The new Caledonia-5 comes with an integrated storage compartment inside the frame. Beneath the bottle cage, there is an easy to access place for a tube, CO2 canister, and small tool. Comfort has also been improved by dropping the seatstays to make the rear triangle more flexible. This keeps the rider more comfortable while enhancing downtube stiffness. The frame fork and handlebar are all designed to integrate cables as well, keeping them completely hidden and out of the wind. This version is equipped with a Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupset for some of the best 12-speed electronic shifting in the world. The Caledonia-5 gives you everything you need for those marathon rides.
