Deda Superzero Carbon Handlebar Info
Deda offers a light carbon handlebar with an aero shape, perfect for racers looking to save a few watts. It’s the Superzero Carbon Handlebar, and it doesn’t skimp on comfort.
Their RHM, Rapid Hand Movement, curve is a compact, semi-ergo shape that, as the name indicates, is easy to move around on. It has 75mm of reach and 130mm of drop. The curves are the standard 24mm round shape so you can easily slide on your brake levers and find the right position for them.
The tops are shaped into an airfoil. It’s faster than round. It also is more comfortable, as you have more surface area to rest your palms. There’s a third benefit that you can’t see easily. That’s cable routing. There are ports underneath for routing your brake and shift cable housing without needing tape, if you desire to go without.
The handlebar clamp diameter is Deda’s standard 31.7mm. There are three widths, 42, 44, and 46cm, measured outside-to-outside. There are two finishes: unidirectional Carbon Matte, and Polish on Black (POB). Weight for a 42 bar is 215g.
