The Cervélo S5 has long made its claim of being the fastest bike on the road and now it is back with even more improvements. Cervélo led the aero charge years ago and they have only widened the gap on the competition. In the 2022 Tour de France, the S5 was seen propelling Jonas Vingegaard to yellow and helping Wout van Aert destroy the competition for the green sprinter jersey. Thanks to new UCI regulations, the S5 is more aero than ever, managing 65 more grams of aero drag improvement. A deeper head tube and bottom bracket area along with more aggressive tube shaping make this the most aerodynamic S5 yet.
The famous V-Stem of the Cervélo S5 has also been updated to its most convenient and fastest model yet. This shape was chosen for aerodynamic benefit and easy control of your bike at high speeds. The design of the stem allows for less turbulent air flow over the top tube and around the rider’s body, eliminating a lot of wind resistance, and allowing for internal cable routing of its performance Shimano Ultegra Di2 electronic groupset. It is now faster and easier to set up than ever. All the needed spacers are included with the bike and only one bolt length is necessary.
