The CeramicSpeed Ceramic Coated Wheel Kits - Mavic-15 is a five-bearing replacement kit built specifically for a range of Mavic wheels — covering the front hub, rear hub, and cassette body in a single package. CeramicSpeed's Grade 3 Silicon Nitride balls are manufactured to a surface finish and roundness that significantly outperforms both standard steel and conventional ceramic balls, with the result being measurably lower rolling resistance across the life of the bearing.

The bearings are pressed into hardened steel races and assembled in dust-free clean rooms, then checked before the kit ships. CeramicSpeed's proprietary grease — designed specifically for low-friction applications — comes pre-applied, with a syringe included for relubrication. Bearing longevity is part of the design brief here: expected service life runs three to five times longer than standard steel bearings under comparable conditions.
