The frame of the LAB71 version of the Topstone is made with their special Series 0 carbon fiber. This is the lightest material Cannondale has ever created, resulting in the lightest Topstone model to date. A special carbon layup allowed them to shave 160 grams off compared to previous iterations without losing any of the strength that you need for gravel success. The carbon is covered in a unique and sleek finish, fitting in with the amazing aesthetic of the LAB71 bikes. The Topstone was already a lightweight and fast gravel bike, but with its new upgrade, it is better than ever.
Cannondale integrated proper compliance into the Topstone without taking away from its speed-focused setup. The Kingpin suspension is fully integrated into the frame to give you the confidence to travel onto unknown terrain. It offers 30mm of travel at the rear wheel, smoothing out bumps and keeping vibration away from your legs. It does all of this without the hassle or weight of shocks and linkages.
