You create the Campagnolo Super Record eleven-speed crankset with titanium Ultra-Torque axle and CULT (Ceramic Ultimate Level Technology) bearings, and completely redesign the aesthetics. Without a doubt, the new four-arm crankset is a work of art and engineering masterpiece.
In an effort to improve upon Campy’s already exceptional shifting performance, the engineers looked at every aspect of how the chain interacts with the drivetrain. That led to the creation of X.P.S.S. (eXtreme Performance Shifting System), which utilizes specially shaped chain ring tooth profiles, machined shifting ramps to help move the chain along, and shifting pins that lift the chain onto the big ring. Each of those features were developed specifically to match chain ring combinations for perfect shifting every time. Chains, having flat sides, don’t necessarily like to move at an angle, so Campy’s engineers have spent decades learning how to coerce the chain to move quickly, efficiently, and silently. The Super Record drivetrain is proof of this unending pursuit of shifting performance.
The large titanium axle reduces weight and increases stiffness, for improved power transfer. With the use of Ultra-Hollow carbon crankarms, hidden bolt four arm spider, and the newly designed chain rings, every watt of your power reaches the pedals. Less wasted energy means increased pedaling efficiency, and leads to a much more enjoyable ride experience- especially dropping your buddies on every climb. The use of an universal bolt circle, obliterating the distinction between compact and standard diameters, means that you can use any chain ring combination on the same crankarms, further increasing the functionality of the Campagnolo Super Record crankset. Available in chain ring combinations of 50/34, 52/36, and 53/39 with crankarm lengths of 170mm, 172.5mm, and 175mm.
