The Argon 18 Subito E-Gravel packs all the benefits of an Argon 18 performance gravel bike but adds an extra boost. The Gravel version of the Subito can tackle any terrain imaginable with room for 650x45c tires and dropped chainstays for a more stable base. It looks exactly like a standard gravel bike at first glance but adds an extra kick while in the saddle. With this gravel build and the extra eBike boost, the Subito E-Gravel can help you keep up with partners, extend your ride, or help you conquer terrain that was never before possible. A hub motor installed in the rear wheel will make sure riders have the exact amount of power they need to keep moving without losing the riding experience.
The frame of the Subito E-Gravel is made with a lightweight carbon fiber layup. Cable routing and the battery are all hidden away in the frame to maintain a sleek look. Still, these items are easy to access for any needed maintenance. Like all Argon 18 bikes, the geometry is adjusted along each frame size, assuring the perfect riding position regardless of the rider’s body type. A 3D system is new to the Subito which offers three headtube heights for each size to customize fit without sacrificing rigidity. This system offers five and 11 percent more stiffness vs. standard spacers when the handlebar is set at 15mm and 30mm respectively. The Subito frame and motor combine to make any terrain, distance, or gradient feel possible.
The Subito E-Gravel incorporates Argon 18’s Topological Compliance System. This creates the perfect balance between comfort and performance for all-terrain riding. It is typically featured in Argon 18 endurance bikes, so it was a perfect addition to this eBike. A bit of extra vertical compliance adds to the comfort of the ride and dampens ground vibration. It manages all of this while maintaining the low weight, stiffness, and aerodynamics that are needed in a performance gravel bike. This version of the Subito E-Gravel is equipped with a SRAM Apex AXS groupset which is tailored to the needs of gravel riders with 12-speed electronic performance. The Argon 18 Subito E-Gravel strips away all limitations of any terrain and brings out the fun in every ride.
