As a result, this frame is 10 percent lighter than other Exploro RaceMax frames without losing any stiffness, even adding stiffness in some areas. It features an engraved numbered limited edition metal plate along with a stunning custom paint job that is unique to this bike. To top it off, your name can be added under the clearcoat. Like the original Exploro, the RaceMax focuses on aerodynamic performance, making it an extremely unique gravel bike. While most riders think of aerodynamics in terms of road bikes, it is important to remember that headwinds and crosswinds are still a factor on gravel and single tracks. This also helps the Exploro transfer into an excellent road bike with the simple switch to road tires. 3T calls their gravel aero technology “Squaro.” This derives from the aerodynamic construction that is more square shaped than the typical narrow profile of an aero road bike.
