The Silca StripChip takes the friction out of waxing your chain. Each chip uses an oleogelatin-based formula designed to strip factory grease and assembly oils from a new chain while simultaneously depositing a fresh wax coating — no harsh degreasers, no lengthy soak, no separate cleaning step required.
Drop one chip into your hot wax melt, submerge the chain for around 10 minutes, then hang it to dry. That's the entire process. Each package contains six chips, giving you six complete chain treatments straight out of the box — a straightforward way to get a factory chain properly prepped and wax-ready.
