When your PowerTap P1 Cleats start to feel like they’re not fully engaging your PowerTap P1 pedals, it’s time to replace them. The best-fitting replacements are from PowerTap; the P1 Cleats.
PowerTap offers two choices in cleats. There are Red cleats that offer six-degrees of lateral float. There are Black cleats with zero degrees of lateral float: in some circles these are called “fixed.” Neither offers left- or right-specific cleats. The cleats, which are manufactured by Wellgo, will also work with Xpedo pedals with the same Look-style retention system.
Both cleats have tabs for walking. In both cases, the cleats come with the necessary hardware for securing the cleats to your shoes.
Before removing the old ones, use a marker to outline the old cleat so swapping is easy.
