3T claims the Exploro as the world’s first aero gravel bike. This Team version is less expensive than the LTD using a slightly lower grade of carbon without adding too much weight. It combines road bike speed with mountain toughness. This bike is fast on any surface and can be customized to blend into any riding situation. It can accept smaller road tires all the way up to 54mm mountain tires, making it fast on any surface. 3T managed to create a frame that has the same reactive feel as a road frame and can handle technical downhills like a mountain bike. Behind this type of versatility and all-around performance, it is no surprise that the Exploro has won multiple design awards in the last few years.
The frame of the 3T Exploro Team is made with unidirectional carbon which is both lightweight and stiff. This makes it tough and rigid enough to deal with some of the most daunting terrain off the road. It features a very stiff bottom bracket that helps it remain tough and efficient on a trail. This version is equipped a SRAM Rival AXS 2x groupset for 12-speed electronic shifting and some extra gears at a great price. It also allows for internal cable routing which keeps a sleek look and keeps cables safe from the elements.
