The Yeti SB135 LR is a mid-travel trail bike that is nothing short of dominant in every aspect of your ride. It is nimble, powerful, and responsive, making it a ton of fun for the versatile rider. The LR version gives you a bit more compliance and a relaxed geometry. It is complete with a SRAM X0 Eagle T-Type transmission which does not require a derailleur hanger. It also has DT Swiss EXC 1501 Carbon wheels, adding to an elite build. The Yeti SB135 is the type of bike you will want to expand your rides with.
Capability in various scenarios is the main focus of any bike with this kind of versatility. It is powered by the redesigned Switch Infinity V2 for the best riding experience. It changes directions as your bike progresses through its travel, maintaining a linear progression curve for more predictable dampening characteristics. A compact Wishbone Shock Extender optimizes leverage rate and pushes the shock forward in the frame to allow for a wider range of shock compatibility, easier service, and more clearance. This version is equipped with an elite Fox Factory Float X shock for 135mm of rear travel. 160mm of travel is added at the front with its Fox Factory 36 GRIP 2 suspension fork. You will have all the compliance you need to embark on your next off-road adventure.
Versatility comes from more than just a suspension. Yeti designed the entire geometry of the SB135 around being capable on any terrain. An entirely new frame was designed for small and extra small riders to make sure everyone got the same benefits. The top tube is slung very low and stand over height is minimized. The bottom bracket is also lower than ever on a full suspension bike, making handling even better. The reach is just right for the best combination of stability and responsiveness. On the SB135, you will feel just as at home on an alpine adventure as a singletrack sprint.
The Yeti SB135 frame is constructed with TURQ carbon fiber, their highest level material. This makes the frame very lightweight and strong enough for difficult rides. Yeti’s new pivot design makes sure the carbon is not in contact with the pivot. The design secures standard-sized cartridge bearings in the frame linkages, attached with precision-machined Floating Collet Axles which boosts longevity and reduces tolerance gaps to virtually zero. Yeti accounted for everything to make sure you have the most capable and fun ride. The SB135 is primed for domination of any trail.
