The Pivot Mach 4 SL V3 is an absolute speed machine of a cross country bike that can perform at a very high level. With cross country evolving to include more and more technical terrain, the Mach 4 SL V3 comes with a full suspension. The Mach 4 SL comes with a flip chip that allows you to choose between 106 or 115mm of rear travel, offering more compliance than the World Cup version. This version is equipped with a Fox Performance Float rear shock. At the front, you will find a Fox Performance Stepcast 34 Fork to add 120mm of front travel. The engineers at Pivot designed the Mach 4 SL while considering every single possible metric of cross country racing and success. Set your Mach 4 SL up the way you want to ride and have it work for you.
Hollow Core Carbon Construction has helped the Mach 4 SL reach new heights in terms of weight savings. Despite its status as a full suspension machine, the Mach 4 SL manages to stay incredibly lightweight to keep a level playing field with its hardtail counterparts. The new Mach 4 SL is 280 grams lighter than the previous iteration of the Mach 4 SL. An integrated headset and carbon suspension bearing pockets also shave off grams, keeping the amount of metal on the frame to a minimum. Ride is the most affordable iteration of this bike, featuring DT Swiss X1900 wheels. Despite the weight savings, there is no sacrifice of strength, stiffness, or handling, leading to an all-around powerful bike. The Pivot Mach 4 has one of the best stiffness to weight ratios Pivot has ever created.
Pivot was sure to make the Mach 4 available in a huge range of sizes to accommodate all riders properly. The extra small size can fit riders all the way down to 4’10” while the extra-large size works for riders up to 6’7” tall. Each size has the proper geometry to keep its rider in the most comfortable and powerful position. Rubberized frame protectors and high-load enduro max bearing assure a sturdy ride. This version of the Mach 4 is equipped with a combination of Shimano SLX and XT components to create an affordable 12-speed MTB groupset. The Pivot Mach 4 SL V3 is fast in all areas for cross country domination.
