Fondriest TF1 Frameset Info

The new Fondriest TF1 frameset is made of 3K carbon fibers, which means with 3000 fiber filaments realized with an extremely compact weaving, which guarantees a very high fiber volume fraction. This result gives the material an excellent workability during the fabrication process and allows the carbon fibers to maintain the most precise direction requested by Fondriest's CAD designs. In addition to the use of innovative materials, Fondriest has developed a process that releases Isistatic Composite Compression Injecting gases into the mould.

Through this process the preassure reaches higher value then standard autoclave ways and reduces any gaps or empty spaces in the carbon. As for the material, Fondriest uses a 3K unidirectional carbon 2x2 twill. On top of that the Epoxy Resin grants an exceptional "HS" High Strenght.

The end result is a mere 970 gram (M) frame that is responsive and agile enough for the most serious athletes but surprisingly not so harsh for those long distance rides. The Fondriest TF1 frameset is extremely stable at high speed and deserves a badge for climbing due to its exceptional BB and drivetrain rigidity and lightweight.
