Colnago C68 Ti Disc Frameset Info

The Colnago C68 represents the pinnacle of Colnago’s world class craftsmanship. A long lineage of C-series road bikes has proven that Colnago is one of the best manufacturers on the planet, and they improved yet again with the C68. 68 represents how far Colnago has come since their inception in 1958. This professional-level road bike is lighter and stiffer than its predecessors and even improves in terms of comfort. The C68 is made entirely in Italy, benefitting from that classic Italian craftsmanship that dominates the cycling industry. With the Colnago C68, you can count on road performance in all areas.

As always, the C68Ti frame is incredibly light and a great climber. Ultra-high modulus carbon was used to make the frame with the exception of its also light titanium parts, making it stiffer than ever in addition to its lightweight improvements. The new split headtube is stronger, lighter, and more customizable. With more options for stack and reach variations than ever, riders can find their ideal fit. It also helps improve stiffness, making the C68 a capable sprinter and not just a climbing machine. The new frame construction of the Colnago C68 has it performing better than ever.

This titanium version includes 3D-printed titanium lugs which allow for a custom geometry. Titanium was the chosen material for this process because it comes in at just about the same weight as carbon and can be 3D printed. By adjusting the lug, you can change the length of your top tube as well as the reach. This new technology can help you adjust your handling and find the perfect geometry for your riding style.

The fork of the Colnago C68 has been redesigned and improved. The “D” shape has been replaced with a simpler 1 1/8-inch lightweight round tube. A special headset system pairs with the fork to make it easier than ever to internally rout cables. The top cap even features an integrated multitool for adjustments on a long ride. The bottom bracket has also been revised to a more standard and easier to find T47 BB. It still has an oversized shell and internal bearings but offers a wider range of compatibility. The Colnago C68 represents the evolution and improvement of Colnago’s flagship road machine.
