In essence, the C68 Allroad is a more relaxed version of the famed C68, designed to reach a wider range of cyclists. The tire clearance is bumped up to 35mm, helping you keep riding when the road gets rough or simply ends. The geometry of the C68 Allroad is designed to keep the saddle in a position that is easier on your back and neck so you can still pedal fast but keep it up for longer and remain comfortable. It has a shorter reach and stack height than the C68, keeping the body more upright and the arms less stretched out. This takes weight off the hands and focuses it on the saddle, fighting off fatigue and soreness on long or difficult rides.
The Colnago C68 Allroad is made with the same C-Series carbon fiber as their racing bikes. It is handmade in Italy from the carbon cutting process and tube construction to the final assembly. Revised tube shapes on the C68 Allroad help it feel fast on smooth terrain and comfortable on irregular surfaces. To strike this balance, the shape of the downtube was changed while both chainstays and seatstays were reinforced. The Allroad version of the C68 has a more squared downtube, giving you that performance feel on a wider range of terrain.
