The Cipollini NK1K is an aggressive and fast road bike that adds endurance technology for a comfortable ride. This bike is a full-on aero road bike and also sports the ability to equip rim brakes for the rider who prefers that traditional style. By all accounts, the NK1K has all the elements of a world-class touring aero road bike but with a bit of extra endurance features. This makes it easier to ride faster for longer in a sustained attack. With an incredibly stiff and lightweight carbon and a comfortable geometry, the Cipollini NK1K strikes the perfect balance of aggressive speed and endurance.
Cipollini found that with the right balance of engineering, they could build a more aerodynamic bike that is also more comfortable. You will notice that the fork crown fits perfectly in the downtube notch. The down tube drops closer to the front wheel while the seat tube more closely covers the rear wheel. All of this makes the bike faster and more aerodynamically efficient. The taller head tube, the flatter, more tapered top tube, the skinnier seat stays, and the smaller, adjustable seatpost all aid in adding comfort. This frame design results in the ideal combination of comfort and aerodynamic speed.
One of the few brands still manufacturing entirely in Italy, the Cipollini NK1K comes with a sleek Italian look to go along with its practicality. It caters to the modern rider, allowing room for tires of up to 30mm wide. This compliments the comfortable endurance characteristics of the frame, giving it the ability to take on tough terrain or longer rides. It also allows for your seatpost to be adjusted from 0mm to 18mm offset depending on personal preference.
