BMC is very much into systems engineering. So it should be little surprise that they designed fenders to go with their Alpenchallenge AC01. The City Kit Fenders match the sleek style of the AC01, and the design is equally functional and fast.
The fenders, made by Furana, work on a grommet system. They clip into place. Once in place they stay secure until you unclip them. Aware that many cyclists don't want to ride with fenders until they need to, these fenders are designed to be installed and removed in unless than a minute.
The fenders offer fairly full coverage. The aluminum stays and aluminum fenders are designed to flow into the aesthetics of the AC01, so the outsides are Black, the insides Silver.
