• New ultra-light fabric, Asteria, is used for the majority of the jersey, keeping the overall weight of the piece to a minimum.
• A second fabric, Asteria, lends the Carbon element to the FR-C name. Ametista has threads of carbon woven through it, allowing the material to be lighter, while maintaining its strength.
• The carbon reinforces durability and also limits stretch in key areas. It also reduces electrical interference around internal organs while Ametista negates the need for grippers, holding the jersey in place.
• A third fabric, Antigua, is used to back Ametista at the cuffs and waist to create airflow and keep the skin cool and dry.
• A fourth fabric, MCK, forms the Y shape of the back panel to limit the vertical stretch in the back and stabilize the pockets, preventing sag when they’re loaded. The shape of the panel eliminates puckers and creases by ergonomically following the body’s contours.
