The Assos Mille GT Winter Bib Tights provide full-leg coverage and flexible insulation to keep riders warm and performing at a high level through the winter months. This garment is comfortable and supportive for challenging the most treacherous winter conditions. Assos wanted a pair of bib tights to fit in between their lighter spring/fall model and their tundra-ready tights, so they came up with the Mille GT Winter bib tights. This garment creates a combination of warmth, flexibility, support, and protection. They are truly a must-have pair of low-bulk winter tights to make the off-season just another season.
RX Heavy material makes up most of the paneling on these bib shorts. It is a highly insulated brushed Roubaix textile that keeps the pelvis and legs safe from biting winds and cold air. RX Light is featured on the back of the legs for added breathability and high flexibility for unrestricted pedaling. Stabilizer V3 technology is a dorsal stabilizer in the mesh with limited vertical stretch for that perfect combination of mobility and security. The material is treated with ECO water repellency to make light precipitation a non-issue. Assos uses their regularFit for this garment which is not as tight and aggressive as race fit but still promotes a performance-oriented ride.
An 8mm memory foam insert is featured in the Mille GT Winter Bib Tights, keeping riders comfortable in the saddle for miles on end. The Y7 Frame has wide and flexible strap coverage in a Y-shape, resulting in a flat and stable structure. All the material on these tights strike the sweet spot between low weight and warm compression to keeps muscles fresh in cold weather. On the back of the calves, you will find reflective bands to assure visibility in all weather and low light.
