The Argon 18 Krypton Pro Force AXS is the perfect road bike for the rider who wants to crank out miles with comfort and speed. This endurance road bike is ready for the longest rides without compromising on speed or its impeccable handling. The goal of the Krypton was to build the perfect ride with an integrated balance of weight, comfort, and stiffness. It can push the pace on flat roads and get up tough climbs with ease. It performs like a true endurance bike on rough terrain as well as twists and turns with confident cornering. The Krypton is also a prime candidate for Gran Fondos or classics. It is fast and light enough that it has been used by the Astana Pro Team and is ready to max out miles on full days of riding. The Argon 18 Krypton Pro is simply made for the cyclist who loves to ride.
Every aspect of performance and versatility was taken into account when creating this all-around endurance road bike. It was constructed with Argon 18’s Endurance Geometry which offers a stable and comfortable ride and a position that is relaxed enough to stay in all day. This position is further optimized by the Argon Fit System which customizes the fit across all sizes to assure every body type has their ideal riding position available. The 3D+ System fully integrates the frame with three headtube extension heights for every frame size. It provides a proven stiffness gain of 5 percent at 15mm and 11 percent at 30mm, creating a faster frame with better handling.
This bike comes with full integration, including an integrated cockpit with a proprietary steerer to properly hide cables. It features a user-friendly design, easy maintenance, and simple travel preparation. This version is equipped with a SRAM Force AXS groupset for high-level endurance-geared 12 speed electronic shifting. To further achieve the ideal balance of comfort and control, Argon 18 used their Topological Compliance System. This system makes the frame more vertically compliant to dampen road vibrations while also remaining impervious to lateral movement to preserve the speed and handling you need. Maximum pedaling efficiency along with high-end compliance is a given with the frame of the Krypton.
