Sidi Shot Cycling Shoes Info
Sidi Shot Road Cycling Shoes bring the Italian brand's signature over-engineered construction to a stiff, race-ready road shoe. Sidi built the Shot around a 3K carbon sole and a dual-dial closure system, prioritizing a precise, adjustable fit and long-term durability over shaving grams — the kind of shoe meant to be kept in rotation for years, not replaced every season.
Closure comes from two Techno-3 dials mounted on the tongue, each tightening the upper in small, even increments so you can fine-tune tension across the top of the foot rather than cinching everything down at once. A spring-loaded release button on each dial lets you loosen the fit instantly mid-ride. The microfibre upper is laser-cut with ventilation holes and finished with mesh side panels, and a sliding vent at the toe gives you control over airflow through the front of the shoe as conditions change.
Underfoot, the 3K carbon sole runs on the thicker side for a road cycling shoe — about 10mm — which adds some heft but delivers the rigidity Sidi wants for efficient power transfer on sustained efforts, climbs, and hard accelerations, with a touch of engineered flex left in the toe. An external heel cup, adjustable via side screws, wraps snugly around the heel with minimal lift during hard pedaling, and both the heel pad and toe guard are replaceable as they wear down. Through the midfoot, the fit runs snug and narrow, so riders with wider feet should expect a more structured hold than shoes built on a wider last.
At around 644 grams for a size EU46 pair, the Shot is heavier than many carbon road shoes in its class — a tradeoff for the reinforced build and adjustable hardware that let it hold its shape over years of regular use. RA Cycles carries the Shot in a white and red colorway, suited to riders who want a locked-in, adjustable fit from a shoe built to outlast a few seasons of hard miles.
