The hub of the C60 Wheelset is designed differently from the other wheels in the Dura-Ace 9270 line. This unique hub allows for that Optbal spoke pattern which allows for the 2:1 spoke design that is needed to give riders such powerful stiffness in their wheels. The spokes are also now 1.8mm rather than the 1.5mm of previous generations, adding to the overall stiffness of the wheels.
