Sprinting out of the saddle with your hands locked in the drops, the last thing you want is to reach back for a lever — the Shimano Di2 SW-R610 Sprinter Switch puts a shift command exactly where your fingers already are. This two-piece set mounts discreetly under your bar tape, one switch per side, each with 150mm of wire to give you genuine flexibility in placement. Connect them into a spare port on a compatible Di2 Dual Control Shifter and you have dedicated sprint-position shifting without changing your grip or your line.
Each switch can be assigned to shift up or down through Shimano's system programming hardware — the standard setup has one side moving to easier gears and the other to harder, so you can dial cadence mid-effort without thinking. Because this is Di2, the shift executes cleanly regardless of load or speed. Installation does require unwrapping and re-taping your bars, so factor that in before you buy.
