The Rotor QXL Inner Chainring for 4 Bolt Shimano Cranks takes the oval chainring concept further than standard Q-Rings by pushing ovality to 16% — up from the 10% of the original Q-Ring design. The result is a more pronounced difference between the effective gear size at the dead spot and the power stroke, giving high-output riders more relief when their legs are weakest and more resistance when they're strongest. CNC-machined from 7075 aluminium, these rings are built to handle the demands of riders generating serious wattage.

Rotor designed the QXL specifically for experienced oval ring users and power-focused riders — those already familiar with non-round rings will adapt fastest and get the most from the increased ovality. Five OCP (Optimum Chainring Position) adjustment settings let you dial in the orientation of the ring to match your individual pedalling style, with a setup guide included to help you find your starting point. The ring is compatible with 4-bolt Shimano cranks and is available in 36t, 38t, and 44t to suit a range of gearing configurations.
