The Rotor Q-Rings QCarbon 4bcd Outer Chainring for Shimano combines a CNC-machined aluminium skeleton with 3K carbon fill to produce a ring that is 20% stiffer and 8% lighter than Rotor's standard Q-Rings. The oval profile — built around 10% ovality — works with your pedal stroke rather than against it, letting you accelerate through the dead spots and apply more torque at the power phase of each revolution.
On a 50-tooth ring, that ovality translates to a virtual 48t at the low point and a virtual 52t at the top of the stroke. The ring ships with multiple mounting position options so you can dial in the oval orientation to match your own biomechanics. Chainring bolts are not included — you will need to source these separately when fitting to a Shimano four-arm crank.
