The design is based of their Tubular Disc, which itself comes from their pro-level Textreme Disc. It’s built as a sandwich of carbon-fiber twill and Rohacel structural foam. The central foam is held by the carbon-fiber sides, providing both rigidity for driving fast and give for dealing with rough roads. The rim is an aluminum alloy hoop with a machined braking surface, for great all weather stopping.

There’s a Shimano Ultegra 6800 cassette body and rear hub in the middle, making it compatible with Shimano/SRAM 10/11-speed cassette splines. The wheel comes with a valve extender and wheelbag. You’ll need to provide the quick release and valve hole cover. The wheel weighs 1590g.

The PRO Clincher Disc Wheel has a minimum recommended tire width is 24mm, due to the wide rim. It comes with an Ultegra Skewer, and a valve extender for valves 48-60mm in length. You’ll need a disc-specific adapter for your pump; the pipe-style adapter works well. You can use dual-sided tape to secure a speedometer magnet to the wheel.
